Congratulations to Brian Ng, Assistant Technical Manager (Web Team), for receiving his first long service award for 5 years at GreenTomato!Brian shares his story of transformation and growth at GreenTomato over the past 9 years. He started as a team member of the Server Team and then transferred to Talkbox, the world’s first voice messenger application. After a few years, he returned to GreenTomato and is now leading the Web Team, focusing on Front-End Development.As a self-learner, communicator and collaborator in the team, Brian started taking on management duties after a few years and has now become a reliable team leader. He shared that he made plans and schedules for his team in collaboration with his prior team head, Kenny, who encouraged him to experience the process of trial and error.Brian has witnessed GT's ups and downs and considered resigning in the past. However, he found his sense of belonging and achievement with the transformation of the Web Team, which gradually grew over the past 6 years. He now has 12 teammates and loves working with them, as they solve problems together.Giving credit to his partner <a href="https://www.gtomato.com/careers/talent-story/where-do-you-see-yourself-in-5-years-time---issac%27s-story">Issac Li</a>, Brian appreciates Issac for providing effective ideas and making work effective.
