Before meeting with our Long Service Awardees, we always prepare a set of questions and topics that we are curious about and share with the awardees in advance. We wish to create a comfortable and relaxed environment for the interview, allowing them to feel more comfortable while sharing their stories and personal experiences with us. During this special occasion,our interviewee, Billy Hung, impressed us with his diligent preparation. He had ready answers based on the questions we provided and even recorded them on his phone! Billy actively encourages team-building activities during non-office hours to build bonds between teammates and better understand each other’s strengths and weaknesses, enabling effective complementing and coordination. Playing board games is one of his favorite activities. Through &nbsp;games, trust is built, work-related stress is set aside, and new facets of each team member are revealed! Game-playing sessions allow them to get closer and become familiar with their teammates' personalities and approaches to decision-making or work, fostering friendship and transforming into better synergy and performance within the team. This continuous improvement in adaptability and the gradual development of mutual understanding are a result of Billy's contributions, leadership, and influence.Colleagues have expressed their pleasure in working and collaborating with Billy, enjoying the journey of working side by side, striving together, and ultimately completing projects. Throughout the process, the team supports and accompanies each other, offering a listening ear and an outlet for stress, enabling the establishment of strong emotional bonds. He constantly seeks new learning opportunities and breakthroughs. Billy appreciates the supportive environment GT provides, which gives him the confidence to try new things, take on new responsibilities, develop a diverse skill set and expertise, and pursue personal growth. Compared to other companies, he finds GT to be a vibrant organization—no matter whether its work culture, the atmosphere, colleagues, or senior executives, everything exudes dynamism. He believes GT's continuous growth and expansion drive him to keep improving. The dynamic environment at GT provides him with a favorable platform for personal growth, in contrast to static or stagnant work environments that simply maintain the status quo. &nbsp;<h1>Bridging the Gap and Striving for Excellence</h1>As an Analyst Programmer, Billy now directly interacts with clients, listens to their requirements, and provides professional analyses and feedback. He approaches the role from both a team member's perspective and the client's standpoint, providing expert advice on how to achieve the desired outcomes within limited time and resources. Sometimes, working with clients who may not be familiar with technical terms, strengths, and limitations, requires him to learn effective communication strategies. He proactively seeks to understand their current situation, goals, and available resources to ensure effective collaboration. Billy acts as a bridge between the client and his team, striking a balance and embracing the challenges. He fearlessly takes on continuous experimentation and self-improvement, assuming the role of a reliable "shield."Billy evaluates his performance and achievements periodically, setting milestones and endeavoring to achieve them year after year. Billy is an Analyst Programmer with over 7 years of experience in the technical field. He is a good listener and a team player, always overcoming challenges with dedication. Skilled in back-end development, Billy also has a foundational knowledge of Cloud infrastructure and is a passionate learner who actively attends training sessions.
