We developed the HTML5 Toy Story 3 mobile advertising campaign for Intercontinental Film Distributors (H.K.) Limited. The campaign, which was piloted on GreenTomato’s iPhone app, Hong Kong Movie, promotes Toy Story 3 to its 400,000 users and allows ticket purchases for Multiplex cinemas. The Toy Story 3 mobile advertising campaign is being run through Hotmob’s mobile advertising network. HTML5 enriches users experienceWith better interactivity in the mobile ad, advertisers gain unprecedented engagement from users.
Unlike traditional banner ads that drive users away to external sites, the HTML5 ad keeps users within the application while they interact with content-rich activities built in the pop-up banner.
The pop-up banner is indeed an extension of the story experience for the users. |
