One of our masterpieces TalkBox is being selected as their Cloud Service showcase by Amazon. Our CMO Jacqueline shared this at Mobile and Smartphone Forum 2012 in ICT Expo today.

Hong Kong Movie, our R&D project which is the top popular movie application in Hong Kong, has announced its innovative mobile marketing solution with STAR Cinema on Mar 29, allowing users an interactive mobile experience with no data service required in an indoor location.

The service “Information Transfer in Proximity” (ITP) is the Hong Kong first wireless technology combining indoor positioning and touch-point marketing. Users who are inside STAR Cinema need to log on Hong Kong Movie App, and then a warm welcome message will be pushed automatically. Using this app and standing in front of the movie stand board, the movie trailer will come out on your mobile screen immediately. Through the app, users can also select to receive push notification of the upcoming movies while seeing such trailers on the screen of theatre. The ITP service will be applicable to all MCL cinemas in the third quarter of 2012.

It is not an easy task to pick a winner from over 100 applicants. Be considerate, please think like a user and show the judge the reason why users like your native app. Remember that the judges are also human beings who use mobile applications everyday!

Be The Hero Among The Applications

Raising the current limitations is one of the possible methods to interact with the panel in the beginning. Recall your intention of developing an app, you will find the answer!

Multimedia Does A Matter

If you were the judge, would you want to listen boring presentations during the day? Graphics, Videos, charts and feedback from app users can make your presentation become more interesting. Try to perform your arts of presentation with multimedia.

Don’t Be Shy To Show Off

What we need is evidence! Rating, ranking, downloads, newsclippings and data of sale revenue are also significant to prove the market performance and competitiveness of your app.

Q&A Session Is Not Just About Question and Answer

We believe that every application has its unique feature and selling point what the judge would like to know. However, it is excusable to miss some of them during the 10-15 minutes presentation. Q&A session will be your good partner to perfect your points.
